Changing the face of Hackney
	CENTRAL HACKNEY A four year programme funded by the Single Regeneration Budget to improve the area around Hackney Central station and St John's Churchyard and Gardens. The Trust has secured £750,000 to achieve this as part Groundwork's pan-London Changing Places : Changing London Lives regeneration programme.
	ST JOHN'S CHURCHYARD AND GARDENS St John's Churchyard and Gardens is a local asset that encapsulates over eight centuries of history in the heart of Hackney. The Trust is working in partnership with the local church, the local authority and the Hackney Society to secure its ongoing conservation. The work is funded through Groundwork's Vital Centres and Green Links programme.
	DALSTON TOWN CENTRE In 1996 the Groundwork organization secured a major seven year pan-London regeneration programme through the Single Regeneration Budget to promote the revitalization of town and neighbourhood centres. Dalston town centre was included as one of the target areas.
	TRINITY BUOY WHARF Trinity Buoy Wharf (TBW) is situated in the Leamouth area of Tower Hamlets. The area presents one of the most exciting and challenging regeneration opportunities in East London. Groundwork Hackney are working with the managers of TBW (Urban Space Management) on a three year programme to attract a wider range of arts activities.
	HACKNEY WICK BOUNDARY AND EYESORE PROGRAMME Groundwork is managing a five year Boundary and Eyesore site programme to address the issue of poor environment. The programme is in its fourth year. Projects that received funding last year included: lighting of St Mary at Eton church, boundary improvements to the adjacent housing estate and tree planting around Hackney Wick station.
